Sustainable Development Goal-3
‘Good Health and Well-Being’

Sustainable development goal-3 which is among one of 17 peaceful and helpful goals set by UN ‘United Nations’ in the year 2015, urges for each person’s- ‘good health and wellbeing', or in other words, this theme refers to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages and targets to end epidemics of AIDS, TB, malaria, tropical diseases and compact hepatitis, water-borne diseases by the year 2030.
Why did our school choose SDG-3?
How does our school promote
SDG-3?
To spread awareness among the students of
our school, we were shown various presentations on Sustainable Development Goal-3,
which helped us to understand it and implement the same goal in our day-to-day
life.
Senior students interviewed juniors to ensure
that the students have understood these goals, which strengthened their
understanding of the same. A drive to clean the environment was also undertaken
by the students by collecting plastic trash and e-waste from all classes. To
ensure that we continue doing the good work many activities are also
incorporated in our holiday’s homework by the teachers.
